Scotty is a sedimentary-hosted lithium exploration project northwest of Beatty, Nevada. A 2023 conceptual exploration target outlined a large low-grade tonnage range, but the company explicitly states that insufficient exploration has been completed to estimate a mineral resource. After the 2025 Desert Minerals demerger, Loyal retained a 49% interest through the ACL associate while Desert Minerals holds 51%, operates the project and solely funds exploration during the agreed funding period. Scotty is therefore recorded as a non-operating joint-venture interest rather than a wholly owned core asset.
