Karibib is a brownfield Namibian lithium-mica project on Mining Licence ML204. Lepidico's last published plan used conventional open pits at Rubicon, Helikon 1 and Helikon 4, on-site flotation to make mica concentrate and proprietary chemical conversion in Abu Dhabi. The listed parent formerly reported an 80% group interest, with the remaining 20% held by !Huni/-Urib Holdings. The Australian parent is now in liquidation, its process intellectual property has been sold, and the Karibib holding-company ownership changed after an acquisition option expired in 2026.
