Elandsfontein is an open-pit phosphate mine and on-site flotation plant on South Africa's west coast with nominal one-million-tonne-per-year concentrate capacity. The operation sells trial-production concentrate but continues to address variable ore, hard bank, pink ore, slimes, mining rates and flotation performance before steady-state or commercial production.
