Henty is an operating underground gold mine in western Tasmania with a 300,000-tonne-per-year plant comprising a semi-autogenous mill feeding a conventional carbon-in-leach circuit. The July 2026 Mineral Resource is 4.23 million tonnes at 3.16 grams per tonne gold for 429,000 ounces, inclusive of Ore Reserves. The July 2026 Probable Ore Reserve is 1.91 million tonnes at 3.22 grams per tonne for 198,000 ounces. Reserve-only mine life is approximately six years, targeting production of 30,000 ounces annually. The Henty tailings storage facility is approved for a further 6m height lift; permitting is ongoing for a tailings expansion to support production through 2030, and work has commenced on further capacity beyond 2030. Regional exploration is at data consolidation and early-stage works prior to drilling. Kaiser expects to maintain the second diamond drill rig approach, largely focused on extensional targets, through at least FY2027.
