Dębieńsko 1 is a hard-coal exploration area adjoining the eastern boundary of JSW's Knurów-Szczygłowice mine complex. JSW won the exploration concession in June 2026 after a competitive proceeding. The planned program uses underground development and drill holes to collect core for geological, coal-quality and methane testing. No resource estimate, budget or program-completion date was disclosed.
