Kipushi is a mechanized underground zinc mine operated by Kipushi Corporation SA adjacent to the town of Kipushi and the Zambian border. Ivanhoe holds 62% and Gécamines holds 38%. The concentrator was debottlenecked from 800,000 to 960,000 tonnes per year in August 2025, and ramp-up was completed in the fourth quarter of 2025. At December 31, 2025, the mine carried 8.96 million tonnes of proven and probable reserves grading 32.76% zinc, supporting a current reserve life of approximately nine years and four months. The deposit also contains copper-, lead-, silver-, cobalt-, germanium- and gallium-bearing mineralization; germanium and gallium are not represented in the available commodity enums. The cached NPV, IRR and initial capital remain the base-case results of the 2022 feasibility study, while the cached mine life reflects the depleted 2025 operating reserve.
