The lithium joint venture covers the lithium mineral rights across the same four granted Reynolds Range licences. SQM paid A$2 million for an initial 30% interest in September 2025 and operates exploration, leaving iTech with a current 70% economic interest. SQM may increase its interest to 51% through A$7 million of exploration expenditure and to 70% through a further payment plus a resource threshold or additional spending. iTech continues to own the underlying tenements and all non-lithium rights.
