The Noto land package comprises 99 prospecting-license applications covering approximately 337.37 square kilometres in four target areas. Nineteen Shika blocks were granted in early 2025; mapping and sampling around the historical Unoya mine returned high-grade quartz float, while other licenses remain in multi-step METI review.
