Iondrive is adapting IONSolv to recover high-value fractions from end-of-life solar panels under a collaboration with Livium. Bench testing improved silver extraction to about 95%, after which work moved to representative commercial feedstock, process integration and recovery of additional fractions. Livium supplies and mechanically prepares the photovoltaic material. Iondrive targets delivery of a solar techno-economic evaluation in Q1 2027, subject to successful optimisation and scale-up work.
