Intrepid is developing a direct-lithium-extraction and refining project with Aquatech and Adionics targeting 5,000 metric tonnes per year of battery-grade lithium carbonate. Test work has produced battery-grade material and detailed engineering is underway, but commercial ownership terms and project economics remain undisclosed.
