Intrepid's potash operations comprise the HB solution mine and North compaction facility in Carlsbad, New Mexico, the Moab solution mine in Utah and the Wendover brine operation in Utah. Most water used by HB and East comes from wells on state lands accessed under a New Mexico State Land Office (NMSLO) easement; operations continue under a temporary renewal while a long-term renewal is pursued. AMAX technical and permitting evaluation is expected to continue throughout 2026, with additional capital investment deferred until at least 2027. Construction timing for an injection well and pipeline connecting AMAX to the HB injection system depends on further technical review and permitting requirements. Before committing additional capital, Intrepid is working to ensure adequate brine injection volumes to flood AMAX and the necessary bitterns management system. Intrepid reports adequate brine sources to maintain HB production for the next few years.
