Atlas is Image's wholly owned open-pit mineral-sands mine in the Dandaragan Shire of Western Australia. Commercial production was declared effective 1 April 2025 and the operation produces heavy-mineral concentrate for sale to offtakers. For the year to 30 June 2026, approximately two thirds of the planned mine footprint had been mined out and most of that backfilled; land forming and overburden replacement had commenced in the southernmost portion. Rehabilitation was progressing, but rehabilitation and offset outcomes had not been fully completed. The federal annual compliance report and its appended state compliance assessment report identified no non-compliant incidents or actions for the reporting period. The federal report records that the prior-period 0.04 ha disturbance outside the External Infrastructure Development Envelope was not carried into current-period non-compliance and identifies no new environmental risks for the period. The proposed Section 45C mine-envelope realignment remained under assessment at reporting, with no change to MS 1220.
