Muga-Vipasca is Highfield's wholly owned flagship potash development in northern Spain. The current feasibility study outlines a two-phase mine producing up to one million tonnes per year of muriate of potash over 30 years, with Vipasca treated as a western extension of the Muga concession. Initial earthworks, detailed design and major equipment contracting have been completed. Full mine construction has not begun: the decline contract, processing-equipment notices and all operational implementation remain on hold until the Goyo judicial process is resolved and replacement construction financing is secured.
