Port Gregory is Heavy Minerals' principal alluvial garnet development project. Its JORC 2012 resource contains 5.9 million tonnes of garnet within 166 million tonnes at 4.0% total heavy minerals. The 2022 scoping study used a conventional dozer-trap mining unit, wet gravity concentration and dry magnetic separation; a formal pre-feasibility study is in final review.
