Heavy Minerals Limited is advancing industrial garnet projects in Australia. Its near-term Kanmantoo project would recover hard-rock almandine garnet from Hillgrove Resources' copper tailings, while Port Gregory hosts a JORC 2012 resource of 166 million tonnes at 4.0% total heavy minerals containing 5.9 million tonnes of garnet. The portfolio also includes the Red Hill garnet exploration project and the 70%-owned, ilmenite-dominated Inhambane mineral-sands project in Mozambique.
