Oaktown is Hallador's wholly owned producing coal complex and includes the active Oaktown Fuels No. 1 underground room-and-pillar mine, the idled No. 2 mine and a central preparation plant. Saleable coal supplies Merom and third-party utility customers by truck and rail.
