The wholly owned Seadrift facility at Port Lavaca manufactures calcined petroleum needle coke, the principal feedstock for GrafTech's graphite electrodes. Its stated nameplate capacity is approximately 140 thousand tonnes, and it supplies most of GrafTech's internal petroleum needle coke requirement.
