GrafTech's Monterrey graphite electrode manufacturing facility has approximately 35 thousand metric tons of annual graphite electrode capacity. GrafTech decided to close the facility permanently and plans a phased wind-down while transferring customer requirements to Calais and Pamplona and pin stock production to Pamplona.
