Baniaka is a permitted open-pit iron ore development near Franceville in south-east Gabon. The 2022 PFS models five million tonnes per year from shallow detrital and soft-oxide feed, while a current addendum is refreshing capital, operating, infrastructure and product assumptions. The Mining Convention gives the Gabon Government a compulsory 10% free, non-dilutable interest in project owner Reminac and a later option for up to 25% additional participation.
