Mkanda is a wholly owned 181.6-square-kilometre exploration licence in Malawi's Lilongwe Plain rutile province. Its July 2026 maiden JORC 2012 inferred resource is based on shallow hand-auger drilling and establishes a large near-surface natural-rutile and graphite inventory, with zircon, monazite and rare-earth co-products still under investigation. Aircore and hand-auger drilling, density work, rutile and graphite metallurgy, pilot studies, marketing and preliminary economic work are continuing. Although management expects the program to support future feasibility studies, no PFS has been published or identified as in progress, so the project remains Exploration.
