Kansanshi is a producing open-pit copper-gold mine and smelter near Solwezi. First Quantum legally owns 80%; after conversion of ZCCM-IH dividend rights to a 3.1% revenue royalty, First Quantum holds 100% of economic rights subject to that royalty.
