Wallal is a copper-gold exploration project in the Paterson Province. Its 2025 hole ended at 917.8 metres without reaching basement, leaving the Eastern magnetic target untested. In July 2026 FDR applied to surrender E45/5853 and E45/5880 but retained E45/5816, which hosts the Eastern and Border anomalies.
