Tent Mountain is a past-producing open-pit coal mine approximately 16 kilometres southwest of Coleman, straddling the Alberta-British Columbia border. Evolve retained the coal property when it surrendered its other Alberta coal assets, but it is no longer pursuing mine redevelopment and is completing exploration reclamation and historical-mine closure planning before a potential hand-off to TransAlta.
