The 5,616.1-hectare Sudbury Basin Project comprises 114 mining patents, six mining licences of occupation and 15 claim groups west-northwest of Greater Sudbury. Its principal mineralized centres are Errington, Vermilion and Balfour. Modern drilling is testing shallow polymetallic zones that remain open along strike and at depth, supported by three-dimensional modelling, borehole electromagnetic surveys, airborne magnetics and metallurgical studies.
