Equatorial sold the Mayoko-Moussondji project in 2015 and retained a 2% royalty on future production. It alleges that Congo unlawfully revoked the exploitation permit in June 2021, impairing its continuing participation and royalty arrangements. The exposure is now part of EEPL's ICSID claim rather than an active Equatorial-operated mine or exploration program.
