Energy Resources of Australia Ltd is an Australian uranium company focused on rehabilitating the former Ranger mine in the Northern Territory. Mining and processing ended in January 2021. ERA also maintains Jabiluka under long-term care and maintenance and has agreed to sell its 50% Cooper Creek exploration interest. Rio Tinto controls 98.43% of ERA and is pursuing compulsory acquisition of the balance, but an appeal remains unresolved and ERA securities are suspended.
