Its U.S. subsidiary has applied to NOAA for a polymetallic-nodule exploration licence over approximately 147,430 square kilometres of the Clarion-Clipperton Zone, while a Cook Islands subsidiary is preparing for a possible future application. The company currently holds no seabed mineral rights or offshore operating authority, and its legacy Twilite gold option is impaired and intended for disposal.
