De Grey held an earn-in right over approximately 700 square kilometres of Novo Resources tenure. It had met the initial A$7 million minimum expenditure by 31 December 2024 but had not yet earned an interest; a further A$18 million by 30 June 2027 was required to earn 50% and establish the joint venture.
