Nifty is a 100%-owned brownfield copper complex in Western Australia's Paterson region with established open-pit, concentrator, heap-leach and SX-EW infrastructure. Its funded Phase 1 refurbishment has approximately 6,000 tonnes per year of copper-cathode capacity, which is plant capacity rather than a production target. Acid commissioning of the heaps, ponds and acid circuit has commenced, and the SX/EW refurbishment is substantially mechanically complete, with remaining installation, electrical and instrumentation work required before safe energisation. First cathode is expected in Q4 2026 during wet commissioning and ramp-up after energisation, subject to successful commissioning. In parallel, Cyprium is evaluating a larger SX-EW capacity expansion and refining the sulphide development described in the 2024 PFS.
