Buchanan is a 100%-owned underground longwall mine in southwest Virginia producing low-volatile hard-coking coal and PCI product. The mine produced approximately 3.6 Mt in 2025 and 1.0 Mt in the March 2026 quarter. Its 2024-effective pre-feasibility-level reserve model reports after-tax NPV of US$1.086 billion at a 10% discount rate.
