Core's Metallurgical reporting unit comprises the underground Leer, Leer South, Beckley, Mountain Laurel and Itmann mines in West Virginia. The portfolio produces high-volatility and low-volatility metallurgical coal plus thermal byproduct; the Leer Complex technical plan also includes the future Leer West reserve.
