Malakoff is the 305-square-kilometre granted EPM 28853 approximately 30 kilometres west-northwest of the Ernest Henry mine. Drilling of the generated magnetic targets found unaltered magnetic volcanics with only trace chalcopyrite; Coppermoly said in October 2025 that the tenement would be surrendered, but the latest March 2026 schedule still lists it as held.
