Compass Minerals is a U.S.-based producer whose majority business supplies deicing and industrial salt from mines and evaporation facilities in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Its Ogden, Utah solar-evaporation complex also produces sulfate of potash plant nutrition products. Under a non-binding 2026 MOU, EnergyX is evaluating a potential lithium DLE facility using leased Compass land and licensed Great Salt Lake brine; no definitive project commitment existed at the July 17 update. K is the principal supported database commodity for the current operating portfolio.
