Kwinana is a proposed Stage 1 cobalt refinery in Western Australia's Kwinana Industrial Area, developed with Iwatani Corporation. The November 2025 base case targets 3,000 tonnes per year of contained cobalt, and the project holds a works approval while engineering, product qualification, binding offtake and financing continue.
