Clinch Resources is a Canadian-listed metallurgical-coal producer operating in southern West Virginia through Active Resources. Its wholly owned ARI Project combines producing Lanes Branch surface operations, underground mine development, an operating wash plant and rail loadout. Clinch also holds 39% of JJ Resources, owner of the fully permitted Sewell Mountain complex, and minority interests in industrial-carbon ventures.
