Charters Towers is Citigold's 100%-controlled underground gold project centred on the Queensland city of the same name. Historic and modern trial mining demonstrated long-hole open stoping and gold recovery, but operations were placed on care and maintenance in 2016 and no commercial production had resumed by July 2026.
