Joyce Lake is an 89.5%-owned direct-shipping iron-ore project approximately 20 kilometres northeast of Schefferville. The October 2022 feasibility study contemplates conventional open-pit mining, dry crushing and screening, a 43-kilometre dedicated haul road to a rail siding and shipment through the Pointe-Noire multi-user port.
