Karlawinda is Capricorn's wholly owned open-pit gold operation 65 kilometres southeast of Newman in Western Australia's Pilbara region. First gold was poured in June 2021. The mine produced 123,589 ounces in FY26 while construction of a parallel crushing and ball-mill stream transitioned into commissioning; the expansion targets 6.5 Mtpa processing capacity and approximately 150,000 ounces of annual gold production.
