CPS holds an option over approximately 120 acres of heavy-industrial land in Selkirk with rail, road, gas and hydroelectric infrastructure. Manitoba Environment Act Licence 3401 authorizes construction and operation of a solar-glass facility at Lot 1 Plan 60001 WLTO and defines Phase 1 capacity of 600 to 800 tonnes per day and Phase 2 capacity of 1,200 tonnes per day. Patterned-solar-glass development was paused in December 2025, but CPS continued feasibility work through a North American float-glass market study and business plan. The April 2026 presentation describes 600 tonne-per-day float-glass and 800 tonne-per-day patterned-solar-glass concepts and says a minor licence amendment would be required for the float-glass pivot. Construction has not started, and the licence will be revoked if work does not begin by May 3, 2028 unless an updated environmental impact assessment supports a further extension.
