Amapa DR is the larger-scale redevelopment pathway for the integrated Amapa open-pit mines, beneficiation plant, 194-kilometre railway and private port. The updated pre-feasibility case targets about 5.5 million tonnes per year of 67.5% Fe direct-reduction-grade concentrate over a 15-year mine life.
