BELCO is a vanadium-electrolyte manufacturing plant in East London. Construction completed in August 2023 and an initial production run supplied qualification samples; Bushveld Minerals held an indirect 46.2 percent economic interest through its 84 percent-owned Bushveld Energy subsidiary, which owned 55 percent of BELCO alongside the Industrial Development Corporation.
