Kostilkovo occupies the southwestern part of the 66.18-square-kilometre Chukata licence in southeastern Bulgaria. Mapping and geochemistry define an approximately ten-square-kilometre paleogeothermal system with multiple targets. The exploration licence is suspended and subject to fee, land-use and extension risks.
