Marillana is Brockman's flagship East Pilbara iron-ore development approximately 100 kilometres northwest of Newman. The project contains large detrital and channel iron resources and is held in a 50:50 joint operation with Polaris Metals Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mineral Resources Limited. Confirmatory technical work is complete, but a project decision remains dependent on heritage and environmental approvals, a mining proposal and the associated HanMin export-infrastructure decision.
