Benton Resources Inc. is a Canadian mineral explorer focused on copper, gold and zinc exploration in Newfoundland and Labrador. Its principal asset is the Great Burnt copper-gold project, where Benton is the operator and holds a 74.89% interest after its joint-venture partner elected not to fund ongoing work. The portfolio also includes the wholly controlled Dominion Lake, Stoney Caldera and Victoria West exploration projects. Benton additionally holds seven 50/50 natural hydrogen and helium prospects with Metals Creek Resources and maintains equity or royalty exposure to several third-party projects. In July 2026 the company announced a proposed spinout of Great Burnt, but the transaction remains conditional and the project is therefore represented under Benton's current ownership.
