Challenger includes the historical open pit and underground mine, the 600 ktpa Central Gawler Mill, tailings facilities and supporting infrastructure. Barton is evaluating a staged restart through a definitive-feasibility study using tailings and selected near-surface open-pit material before potential fresh-rock operations.
