Mt Ida is Ballard's 100%-owned gold project covering 26 kilometres of prospective greenstone belt about 100 kilometres northwest of Menzies. Its current 1.178-million-ounce JORC resource is dominated by Baldock, where approved open-pit and underground mining, a 2.0 Mtpa CIL plant and tailings facility, vegetation clearing, water abstraction and road diversion support definitive feasibility and reserve work.
