BacTech plans to build and operate a modular bioleach plant near Tenguel to treat high-arsenic gold-silver concentrates purchased from mines in the Ponce Enriquez district. The independent 2022 BFS update modeled 18,250 dry tonnes of annual feed at 55 g/t gold, 96% gold recovery and approximately 30,900 ounces of annual gold production. All major environmental and consultation permits are reported secured and detailed engineering is substantially advanced, but construction financing had not been secured at the latest reporting date. Management's current construction budget is approximately US$22 million, while the formal BFS case recorded here used US$17 million.
