Nechalacho is Avalon's rare-earth and zirconium development project about 100 kilometres east of Yellowknife. Avalon retains the deeper Basal Zone below 150 metres through Magmic Rare Earths; Cheetah Resources owns the separately developed Upper Zone. The 2013 feasibility plan contemplated underground cut-and-fill and longhole mining with flotation, hydrometallurgical and refining circuits.
