Burnt Pond comprises 39 mineral claims totalling 975 hectares in the Tally Pond volcanic belt of central Newfoundland, about 16 kilometres southeast of Millertown and 10 kilometres northeast of the former Duck Pond mine. Historic drilling intersected narrow high-grade polymetallic lenses and a sulphide-rich stringer system, but no compliant mineral-resource estimate has been declared.
