KMP is ASM's wholly owned commercial metals and alloys plant in the Ochang Foreign Investment Zone, 115 kilometres south of Seoul. Commissioned in 2022, it produces customer-qualified NdPr metal and NdFeB strip alloy and has made commercial terbium and dysprosium sales. The plant dispatched 42 tonnes of NdFeB alloy in Q1 2026, has a current stated 1,300 tpa alloy nameplate capacity, and is expanding its furnace and strip-casting infrastructure toward 3,600 tpa while commissioning pilot-scale heavy-rare-earth capability.
